Tatevik

Gasparyan

Firework of Colors

Tatev, who finds incentive in all the little things, is guided by a quote that she has heard from her mother countless times: “Нужно быть, а не казаться”, which is literally translated as “Need to be and not just to seem”. She derives pleasure from constant creating; working on thorough details that result in a fascinating project brings her delight. “I believe it is crucial for a person to feel that they are growing professionally and personally in their career, even by taking baby steps, and DEEM creates every possibility for you to do so.”  Not only our Pantone Perfectionist has a bachelor’s degree in Jurisprudence program at YSU’s Faculty of Law, but she has also received a design qualification from the Kojoyan Design Studio. Tatev indeed meant it when she said that she is fond of learning and doing something new all the time. She was engaged in volunteer work for the Protection of Rights Without Borders NGO, Women’s Resource Center, took a UI/UX course at BDG (Business Development Group), and passed the upper intermediate level of English at AUA Open Education.  Tatev has worked in various positions and different industries, such as an Assistant to the Clerk and Judge at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts, graphic designer at Slice Consulting, and a language specialist in a language center at the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction.  “In 2017, I visited DEEM for a month or two to observe the work of Graphic designers, and I fell in love with it. Since then, I have always wondered what it would be like to work in a creative company like DEEM.” Tatev had always followed the work of DEEM through social media and wanted to be a part of it for a long time. That wish of hers was fulfilled in November of 2021. Tatev’s spirit is creative outside her workspace as well. She had attended dancing lessons for over seven years both in Artsakh and Yerevan, and now she finds dance to be one of the best stress-relieving activities in her life. Being a busy bee, she does not find time to read books anymore; however, she mastered the skill of multitasking, and now listens to audiobooks whenever she is working. Researching philosophical questions and discovering new music genres are among other activities she finds herself engaged in.
